Our Class 117 - W51372 was purchased July 2017
Class 117 – W51372 was purchased by CDRL (Cotswold Diesel Railcar) and delivered to The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway July 2017.
Formerly resident at a private site at Titley Junction, W51372 was purchased by CDRL and delivered to The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway on Tuesday 25th July 2017.

W51372 was preserved first at the Chasewater Railway and then moved to the private site at Titley Junction. W51372 is currently in the 1970’s British Rail blue livery, the same as Class 117 – W51360.
Interesting fact: W51372 formed part of the first DMU travelling through the Channel Tunnel during construction.

CDRL (Cotswold Diesel Railcar) was formed in the Spring of 2011 by a small group of volunteer workers from The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway
The first of the 2 newly acquired units (W51372) has arrived at GWSR Toddington Station.
Another busy day for the DMU crews with the BubbleCar being the focus of attention.
As it was such a nice day, it was decided to tow the Bubble Car out into the warm sunshine.
