  • August

    The Class 107 – SC52029 was purchased by CDRL and delivered to The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway August 2015

  • 2014

  • July

    As of July 2014, CDRL maintain a total of five DMU vehicles most of which are available for service on the GWSR

  • 2013

  • September

    The W51360 was purchased by CDRL and delivered to The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway on Friday 20th September 2013.

  • 2011

  • October

    Another fund raising effort culminating in CDRL purchasing and taking delivery of three additional vehicles in October 2011

  • March

    A group of Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway (GWSR) volunteers (ironically from the Steam Locomotive Department) quickly formed the company now known as CDRL in the Spring of 2011

  • March

    The opportunity arose to purchase ‘Bubble Car’ W55003 in full running order

  • March

    The company was formed in the Spring of 2011 by a small group of volunteer workers from The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway

  • 1958

  • January

    20 diesel cars were delivered recently to British Railways by the Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon Co. Ltd. and are now working in the London and Birmingham areas of the Western Region
